Despite a rather underrated collection of free fights, the Octagon action was plentiful last night (Sat., Nov. 26, 2016) as Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) traveled down under for UFC Fight Night 101 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia. The main event saw Robert Whittaker cash in on his first headlining act by stopping finisher Derek Brunson in the first round via TKO.
While UFC Fight Night 101 saw 10 total decisions, trying the record set by UFC 169 and UFC Fight Night 36 back in 2014, the event offered blood-filled action from start-to-finish.
